The Crandon Lakes beach office will be open from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays from Memorial Day weekend through June 15th.  Starting June 21st we will have a lifeguard on each beach and the office will be open from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. daily through Labor Day.  The lifeguards will be protecting the safety of the bathers. NOTE:  Lifeguards are instructed to whistle and call everyone “in” prior to leaving duty at lunchtime and at the end of the day.  This may seem silly but it is to ensure that the beach was safe when they left and most importantly to ensure that all bathers are aware that they are now without a lifeguard.  As usual there will be a lifeguard on each beach.  If for some reason we only have 1 lifeguard on duty, this guard will be placed at the East Beach.

The office is open so you may pay your dues in person, fill out requests for beach parties, sign out recreational items and obtain boating permits, please take advantage of this opportunity.   There may be times that the office staff is at the beaches checking badges and the office will be locked but there will be a sign on the door and you may stop back.  Also, if you lose anything on the beaches, please stop in at the office and check our lost and found….we have some interesting items from the beach.  The Beach office phone number is 974-948-0059.

With respect to garbage, the beaches are “Carry in and Carry out”.   I know this can be hard but our beaches are beautiful!  I also ask that you wear your badges to the beach.  The office staff is instructed to ask for badges.  We have a beautiful lake and many people know this.  However our lake is for our residents and their guests.  The only way for us to insure that the appropriate people are using the beaches is to have the staff check for badges.   So, in an effort to keep the lake beautiful and private for its owners (That’s us!)  Please cooperate and wear your badges.
