This is the old raft that was located at the East Beach. The photo is from July 1972. If you look closely you will notice the Pied Piper Ice Cream truck at the beach entrance, and all the lake owned boats along the beach.

The Orchard

Photo compliments of Bill Rowan

Growing up at the lake many years ago, one of the weekly bicycle trips over the summer would be to The Orchard. This was a small stand on the side of Rt 521 about a mile before
you'd reach Rt 206. It was owned and operated by Pop Tooker. Penny candy, ice cream, and soda.

Dam Renovation 2002-2003

Ronald Spehalski:

I am happy to report that our Dam is completed.
Hutton Construction worked during bad weather this winter and spring to have the lake ready for this summer. They are to be congratulated for a job well done. The stop logs are in and the lake is full.

For the Benefit of our community there will be no fishing or trespassing on the Dam property (the stones on the lakeside represents the dam property).

We hope our adults will show a good example to our young.
