Beaches


Beach preparation is well under way. We will be opening the office on Saturday May 28, 2011. Doreen Binns will again be working in the office this summer. Starting Saturday, June 18th the main office will be open from 12:00 noon till 5 pm, seven days a week through Labor Day. If you wish to pay your dues in person, please take advantage of this opportunity. If you want to use the beach on the day your dues are paid, you will receive a temporary beach pass. Once your payment has been posted by the book keeper, you may pick up your badges. Also, if you lose anything on the beaches, plea0-se stop in at the office and check our lost and found…we always acquire quite an array of interesting items. The beaches will have lifeguards seven days a week from 12 noon till 5 pm from June 18th through Labor Day. Beach Badge Policy—Please wear your badges to the beach. The office staff and our security firm is instructed to look for badges. We have a beautiful lake and many people know this. However, our lake is for our residents and their guests. The only way for us to insure that the appropriate people are using the beaches is to have the staff check for badges. In an effort to keep the lake beautiful and private for its owners, that’s us, please cooperate and wear your badges. Please remember to be mindful of the rules as posted on the lifeguard stands. Especially, remember that our Beaches and other lake property are “Carry-In and Carry-Out”. Ropes will be put out June 12th, the weekend prior to June 18th. Lifeguards will start June 18th. Please be sure to watch our Facebook page and check your emails because we are in the process of firming up SWIM LESSONS, provided by our dues! They will be starting in July and will be offered weekdays at 11:00 am on the main beach. The sign up information will including dates will be available shortly. Michelle Ryan June 2011
