Happy Summer! We are taking a page from the Crandon history books this season and relying upon community volunteerism in order to run this summer’s events. During this year’s Welcome Picnic on June 18th, a sign-up sheet will be left for members to volunteer for specific events listed in the summer recreation calendars.

Volunteer as a family. Volunteer to share your talents. Volunteer to meet your neighbors. Any time that you can give back is much appreciated! As always, we would like to thank those who come out each year to help.

The Recreation committee is always taking suggestions on how to make events better. Please share your ideas!

Rec calendars will be posted at the upper lake entrance, lower lake entrance, and the two beach areas. Calendars and event information are also posted on the lake website and the Facebook site (“Crandon Lakes, New Jersey,”) which is updated constantly. Any event that has been added to the calendar or requires giving advanced notice will also be posted separately.

It is great to see a new generation of Crandon kids and families enjoying all that the community has to offer.
